Film maker

Stefano Bertacchini graduated as a cameraman from the Milano Centro per le Tecniche Cinetelevisive in 1991. He moved to Amsterdam in 1992 and since then he has been working as a freelance cinematographer, editor and colorist. In 2022 he completed the documentary KNOCKIN’ ON HERMAN’S DOOR (57min.), his first film as director.

The documentary has been recently added to the prestigious Eye Film Player, the online streaming platform van Eye Filmmuseum. He is actually living between Amsterdam and Bern.

The pseudonym used by Stefano Bertacchini as editor is Tony Magenta.
