SHIGHEY, MY FLAME The song Shigey Habuni ('Give me my flame') lives on in the hearts of all Eritreans around the world. It became a symbol of the long and harsh fight against the Ethiopian occupation. The writer and singer of this song, Tewolde Redda lives in exile in the Netherlands, refusing to sing his famous song again.
